The Sunshine Coast Lacrosse Association
has been providing youth box lacrosse to communities of the Sunshine Coast since 2002, and Field Lacrosse since 2013. We are a non profit, volunteer run organization. We encourage all youth, boys and girls, to try Canada’s First National Sport! It is great for developing skills in teamwork, hand-eye coordination and stick handling. Lacrosse; a perfect complement to sports such as hockey and soccer and for developing great cardio function.
The SCLA was formed with the goal of providing all Coast Youth the opportunity to play this fast paced and exciting game. The first decade of Lacrosse on the Coast was spent developing the Box Game and Minor divisions, but we have since added the Field Game to our programs, and have begun investigating moving into the Senior Divisions to accommodate our over-aged players.
